You Can't Put Him In A Box: Exploring the Musical Mind of 2ndbornace

He goes by 2ndbornace, or Ace to some. Raised in Delaware, but residing in Maryland, not much is known about him and he likes it that way.

It's hard to put an exact label on his sound. He's not much of a rapper anymore, but he isn't exactly a singer either. He vocalizes over chill, melodic beats mostly. The lyricism eats. Sometimes you need a couple listens to really get what he's saying. His personalized style of mixing is interesting as well. Very raw, but clear.

In his latest project, "Understand Me", he talks about his fast life, the trials and tribulations of the things around him - the relationships, the situations he finds himself in. I think that's what makes his music feel so real because it doesn't sound like he is appeasing to what is popular. Nothing too secular and superficial.

Ace is apart of the rap collective / label, WeWork808s, alongside artists Antsxsa! and Deaira Dozart. He is said to be working on something set to release in the near future. Right now he's focused on attaining the specific sound he is looking for.
