Purpose
SalemWorld is a one stop shop that highlights unique, small artists. Our purpose is to not only showcase and spread the word about artists that we know and love, but in this process, we also want to find new artists, learn more about them, and give them the flowers they deserve. Our blog highlights small, underrated artists from the DMV and affiliates. Connect with us and stay updated on the latest music news and artist features. Behind the Blogs
Deaira is the editor and director of SalemWorld. All research, interviews, blogs, and videos are executed by her and her alone. Outside of being an artist herself, releasing under the name, Deaira Dozart, she is a full time student majoring in Business Communication.
“I’ve always been in love with the arts. Film, fashion, videography, etc. But music has been a true passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I find true joy in making my own music while also hearing and sharing the music of others. I’ve seen firsthand the amount of talent that resides where I’m from and I want those individuals to be heard.”
